Hey everyone, next week we will be starting a new schedule process.
The goal of this is to:
- Try and get everyone on a more consistent schedule going forward.
- Ensure we have enough people on staff to serve guests at all times.
We used the availability most of you sent me to put the schedule together. I’ll be sending out next week’s schedule through QuickBooks Time shortly.
A few changes you’ll notice:
- We’ll be posting the schedule via the Time app going forward.
- The schedule will start getting posted earlier than before. Our goal is to post it between 5-7 days before the start of the schedule.
- Your scheduled days will remain consistent. Only a few shifts may vary hours depending on occupancy. If you need one of your normal shifts off you will need to work with the team to find someone to cover for you. If you cannot find someone to replace you, then you can submit for PTO, but we cannot always guarantee it.
- Some of the shift times have changed. For example, the day (housekeeping) shift and the evening shift.
Holidays — we will be open on the holidays. This means that we will be following this new schedule process on those days as well. Christmas will be holiday pay (like Thanksgiving was). If you must have the day off you’ll need to submit PTO or find someone to cover your shift. Again we cannot guarantee the approval of a PTO request, but we will do our best to accommodate where we can.
